Conversion capsule for 1994 bay boat sender

The capsule did not work on my sender. My sender is the model that is approximately 3.5 inches long and a Moeller product. The capsule would read 1/2 to full, but not for lower readings. Perhaps my sender is the problem.

Hi, Do you know if this will work as a alternative to
5713S02543P Rochester Gauges TwinSite Dial Capsule 240-30 Ohms (P5713S02543, 5ANYS02543)

Go2marine / LFS Marine & Outdoor

No way to know for sure if bolt pattern is same but it will do the same job mechanically.
