New England Ropes' 8 Plait Anchor Line is designed and manufactured for use in mechanical windlasses. NER 8 Plait Line gives you a balance between a supple, firm, easy handling line and one that can be used in mechanical windlasses without abrading or fraying. Engineered to work in most major windlass models and uniquely designed to be spliced to chain.
The Premium 8 Plait can be used as anchor lines (particularly for motorized windlasses).
