Description

This two stage low pressure regulator comes with a 3ft pigtail hose with tank fitting, stainless mounting bracket and pressure gauge. This two stage regulator is recommended for propane appliances used in boats, RV’s and cabins. A 3/8″ NPTM x 3/8″ male flare fitting is included for 1 appliance.

This regulator can supply multiple appliances but would need #19-165 or #19-166 fitting kits with shut off valves to connect to the supply hoses.

This is a well-built regulator with an easy to read gauge that makes it simple to perform a system pressure/leak test in accordance with ABYC recommendations and marine safety standards. It is designed so the feed line from the LPG tank to the regulator enters on the left side, passes through the regulator, and exits from the right side. This was opposite of the way I would have preferred for my mounting location, but not a big deal. I just had to buy an appliance hose about an extra foot longer so I could make the turn back in the other direction and reach the appliance. Works great. Note that the tank connection hose does not have the plastic handle found on many grills for easy hand tightening. You'll need a crescent wrench to seat the brass connector, and note that it is reverse thread (counter-clockwise to tighten; clockwise to loosen) where it threads into the LPG tank. I'm using this regulator to connect a 20 lb. propane cylinder to the Dickinson P9000 heater in the cabin of my houseboat. It works great!
