The Scotty Rod Holder Extender increases the height of your rod holder by 8-1/2", lifting your rod above the railing or any other obstructions. This can enhance your odds with easier access to your rod and reel. The Extender is made with a stainless steel shaft as well as tough reinforced nylon. It works well with all Scotty post mount rod holders.
