Description
The SeaStar PA1200-3HP Power Assist unit is a high-pressure (1000psi MAX system peak pressure, 500psi working load), electronically controlled gear pump designed to augment hydraulic steering systems for high-output applications such as duo-prop Suzuki outboards.
The PA1200-3HP Power Assist includes a 15′ harness and ORB fittings. These allow it to seamlessly integrate into the helm–cylinder circuit.
The PA1200-3HP automatically recognizes 12V or 24V input, and maintains a system pressure of up to 1,000 psi. Under normal operation, wheel input is amplified to reduce steering effort; when no power is available, the unit reverts to manual mode. Ideal for applications demanding high torque assistance while preserving standard turns lock-to-lock.
