Description
Shaft Packing is braided from Teflon impregnated flax roving. This gives your boat a big step up from traditional flax packing. Although the underlying flax matrix is still subject to degradation over time, the Teflon lubricants last longer because they are resistant to the frictional heat generated by the rotating shaft.
