- Notes: If mounting to a standard swivel with 4 holes this seat requires a reinforcing plate. The Reinforcing plate can be purchased separately under part 57005. Please note this ships as an oversized package.
NOTE: All Tempress Elite, Fisherman, and Captain's Seat should be mounted to a fore/aft slide 5" x 12" pedestal. If they are mounted to a 5" x 5" spider pedestal, then they MUST also use the Tempress reinforcement plate (57005). The 5" x 5" spider alone does not provide enough stability / surface coverage to properly support the seat and if mounted directly will void their warranty. Therefore, it cannot be mounted directly to our Elite, Fisherman, or Captain's Seat. There has been a warning on the seats about this for over a decade and an updated install sheet will help customers properly mount their seats for a safe boating experience.
