DESCRIPTION
These hose adapters are made from Forespar's high-strength, glass-reinforced, composite polymer, Marelon®. With abrasion and UV resistance comparable to bronze, and over 3/4 of the strength, Marelon's added 100% corrosion resistance makes it a "no brainer" choice for thru-hulls, valves, and other marine plumbing fittings. Among plastic fittings, Marelon is more than twice as strong as nylon, its next closest rival.
These adapters have NPSM parallel (straight) thread form that requires thread compound or Teflon® tape to seal.
They will work on any metal marine valves or marine fittings with NP parallel threads.

Forespar Products Corp. warrants all products manufactured by it to be free from factory defects in material and workmanship under normal use and with normal maintenance for a period of thirty six 36 months from the date of initial retail sale. The Limited Warranty is extended only to the original retail purchaser and does not run to any subsequent purchaser. Proof of purchase is required.
