Mechanical controls or also known as control boxes or boat throttles, come in different mounting options and styles. Mechanical boat control systems use a lever to control the engine throttle and gear shift. Some models also include an additional buttons / switches for controlling tilt and trim systems. Depending on your boat configuration we offer replacement top mount controls, top flush mount, side mount and flush side mount. For control cables , we carry them in a large selection of different lengths and styles depending on your engine/transmission and control box type. 3300 series ( 33C ) which use a 10-32 size threaded terminal with clamp-type fitting on each end, and are the most common style cable used and fit most outboard applications with exception to Mercury and OMC ( Johnson/Evinrude ), which use their own style OEM cable. There is also the 4300 series ( 43C ) cable which has a 1/4"-28 threaded terminal end with clamp-type fitting on each end, which are used on some of the heavier applications such as would be used with some inboard diesel engines and transmissions.
