First you will need to either match your existing rub rail profile to one of the Chaparral Boat Rub Rails or select the rub rail and insert system you would like.
How much rub rail do you need for your boat?
There are two ways to determine how much rub rail you will need to purchase. One is to measure the amount already on your boat & add ten feet (10’). The other is to measure the length & width of your boat, double this amount & add ten feet (10’).
The extra 10’ allows for some trial & error.
You may want to purchase and watch Rub Rail Installation Video.
Finally, you will need to consider shipping. 12’ lengths must be shipped via freight which is more expensive. 8’ lenghts can be shipped via a normal carrier but requires the 12’ sticks to be cut.
