Question
Fuel polishing

I want to make a fuel polisher. The fuel will be drawn from the bottom of the tank, through a Racor Filter to the pump then back into the tank at the top of the tank. Which fuel pump should I use. The tank is 200 gals.

Answer

Hello, I would go with a rotary vane pump. They cost a bit more but can run continuous and don’t have an impeller that can fail.

Question
Diesel transfert pump

Hello,

I want to replace my diesel transfert pump on my boat. It’s use to fill secondary tank (20L) from primary tank. The specifications should be:

  • Smaller as possible;
  • 12 V
  • head 20ft
  • Self-priming from dry up to 7ft
  • Port Type: 1/2" NPT Female
  • Can run dry

Do you have a solution for me?
Thank you very much.
